Our two health visitors, have responsibility for working with pre-school children and their families. They are also available for advice and support for families with special needs or stresses, for bereavement support and for postnatal support.
In-House Counsellor
Mrs Joyce Dallimore is our In-House Counsellor, and patients can be referred via their GP. She offers a confidential service to patients who may be depressed, or anxious, as a result of some recent, or past event in their life e.g. sudden bereavement, divorce or illness.

District Nurses
Tel: 029 2062 1982 weekdays 08.30 - 17.00 (16.30 on Fridays) or
01495 751388 all other times including Bank Holidays. The district
nursing service provides 24 hour care and support for patients of
all ages at home. This includes support and advice for their carers,
without whose dedication many patients may not be able to live at home.
In addition to home visiting they can assess for the provision of
nursing aids e.g. commodes, hospital beds, pressure relieving equipment,
etc. A discrete service for continence assessment is also provided.
The attached team is led by Charge Nurse Dorian Schelewa.
